Keybase is the best
I am starting my journey into the big world of tech and web development. Learning programming languages, investing in crypto, and much more. Keybase has been an absolute life saver for someone who has an iPhone but still uses a PC computer. Most Apple products can airdrop stuff across devices. With keybase I can message myself from any device and keep up to date with my files. There is also public, private, and team cloud space to utilize so I don't even have to use a hard drive. How cool is that? So not only can you do that but you can encrypt, and decrypt files for sharing. Very nice stuff if you ask me. I love keybase and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have an easy file transfer system, safe and secure communication, or company/team work space for app usage.
App is dying
Used to be a super cool app. Becoming unmaintained since the team was acquired by Zoom. I had Stellar crypto on this, and logged in today to see that they had removed support for the stellar wallet. I was able to use the stellar network to get the funds off, but a lot of users may struggle with that. Unfortunately it has to be a one star review, as you can’t just add features to let users add money, and then remove those, potentially trapping your users money.
Cross platform, reliable, much more than chat
I am really enthusiastic about Keybase chat as I depend on it daily for keeping in touch with close friends. The cross platform support is absolutely key for me (Apple Messages fail hard here, but Keybase is also far more reliable for me). I do also use some of the other features like security cloud storage and git repos which is very handy.
Good but Siri
Keybase for iOS is such a good app! However, can developers consider to add some basic functions like sending messages and so on to Siri? Sometimes I have the need to send messages via that AI. Thanks!
