Don't bother getting this App. Every guy is a scammer. You don’t get results in your area, you can’t read the full answers on people’s profiles, the sentences just end & there is no way to read the whole thing, the cities do not include the city & state so you have no idea where TN free person is from, & emailing for help is a joke!

I enjoy using this app but not only does it keep recommending women outside of my state and sometimes out of my country but it keeps crashing. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still keeps crashing. Please fix this.

Maybe it wasn’t always this way, but after finding it nearly unusable, I did some digging and will report them after this review. The app boasts a 3x greater success rate than any other dating app, while not stating whom according to. This cannot be possible, as their “sophisticated algorithm” does NOT filter to your location or age. I don’t mean it’s off by a little—you will be shown almost exclusively people from states outside over your own who are anywhere between 18 and 65 years old. The preferences you set are purely for show. Then there’s the UI—go check out the screenshots for Hinge and compare to Gather. They could very well have a lawsuit on their hands because they CLEARLY stole assets and images from Hinge, let alone the entire app model (except Hinge actually works…). Here’s where the scam part comes in: look at the reviews on Apple and sort by recent. You’ll see NO ONE is praising the app, and there are a number of people reporting that they’re being offered financial incentives for leaving positive reviews, which I have to believe violates some TOS rule. Then look at their past updates—it’s the same thing over and over again, leading me to believe they aren’t actually changing anything. Moreover, if you visit their website and social media pages, they haven’t updated anything in over a year. Especially with the prevalence of bots/scammer accounts, this leads me to believe that this was a quickly made app that reuses assets from industry competitors to effectively con people out of subscription money. Beware this app.

Age filter does NOT work. Consistently getting men 30+ year older than the top of my age preference range. Very uncomfortable and forced me to delete the app for my own peace of mind. (If that worked, this app would be great!)

The there are several things going for this app, but also some pretty big ones going against from my experience. I am able to see that users liked my profile however when I go to subscribe to see their profile, there is no CTA button to subscribe. Then when I go to the FAQ section it just auto exits out as soon as I click on a question. This app also does not let you go back to look at profiles in your set age range and will just show profiles of people way outside of it. So yes the UI is sleek in some points, but not having some of the core functionality is really hurting the usability.
