The general look of the app is nice except there’s a giant “save to favorites” button in the center of the pictures with no way to get rid of it. Makes seeing the item difficult. I find the website easier still so just used that to do some holiday shopping instead of the app. Since the app is new am hopeful the bugs will get worked out
1) my app preference is MENS, however on clicking SHOP, I’m shown women’s necessitating an extra click to get to mens. 2) REMOVE “double tap to favorite item” from blocking the center of every product photo. 3) None of us will use the app if we have to click through ANY ads. Your conversion rate X ad frequency = session ends... Two stars for effort, excited to have a usable app on the horizon!
Long time customer but just discovered the app. I added a bunch of shirts to my cart and then clicked on them one at time to get closer look. Each time I try this app takes me to a totally different color than what I added to the cart
I was enjoying the app; however, with the latest update my saved items are merged with my favorites, and I can’t access either list. Your loss. If I can’t see my lists, then I’m not able to buy anything off of them.
UPDATE IS THE WORST!!!!
This app has been fabulous since day 1 and I tell all my friends about it. Not anymore if this is the new update. It glitches and crashes constantly. Doesn’t load anymore photos while scrolling then crashes. I had over 200 ‘save for later’ items since this company changes its promotions every 5 days and now over half are just gone. Hate this new ‘favorite’ option, why are y’all covering the whole outfit with a logo for adding to favorites?!?! The website is worse. Just placed 2 orders and only my second is showing. Lost all my rewards! Will stop shopping with J.Crew if this doesn’t get fixed ASAP!!
theres a glitch where i cant view any of my favorites in the app and have to open it in browser though. would love to see it fixed
Ads ruined the experience
I was so excited to download the J.Crew App… I have been a loyal customer for so long and thought this was going to revolutionize the way I shopped at J.Crew since there aren’t any local stores and I have been using the website. I can’t even comment on how the app is because I was bombarded by ads, I usually have 5 things in my cart within 5 minutes, with the ads it takes so much longer and ruined the awaited app experience. I hope they remove the ads, I won’t be back on the app until that happens.
