Doesn’t work
The app asks me over and over to enter my zipcode and select my store (even though home page clearly says pickup at my local store). I cannot check out, it’s just an endless loop of asking my zip code after I select the store. SUPER annoying. Called store, they “are not trained on the app.” Called Customer Service, direction was to uninstall & reinstall (even though I just downloaded it yesterday). That did not work, not surprisingly. Oh well, gonna try Publix.
Pricing increase in app???
Time to go back to the store for better prices? I’ve seen the app require updates, then the prices for food go up? Dollar here, dollar there. Would like Kroger to CONFIRM that the pricing listed is the same as price in store. I understand the convenience factor in the app, but if I KNOW pricing is cheaper if I go in, I’ll most likely go in. Not a fan of this.
App isn’t an improvement. Each update gets worse
App still hasn’t improved. It is difficult to find your pick up order. You have to go through so many steps to find it, and it isn’t intuitive. Whoever is working on this app, obviously doesn’t do pick up orders. It used to be on the front page if you placed an order. Also, even though the store takes Apple Pay, it still isn’t an option back on the app. Apple Pay is much more secure. I don’t even think this app has 2 factor Authentication, which opens it up to peoples info being stolen. Please get a developer who actually does pick up orders in their own lives to improve this app. It needs A LOT of improvement. I don’t shop at Harris Teeter as much because of it. Previous: App improvements are terrible. Each update is worse than the previous. If you go to the savings part, and try to add things to your cart, it doesn’t add them to the app cart, it adds them to a different cart. It’s almost like the savings page takes you to Harris Teeter Website. The app was way better before. Also, it still doesn’t allow for Apple Pay nor does the app do two factor authentication. I’ve honestly stopped using this app as much. The Apple Pay is a big factor, as well as the savings issues. If Kroger Corp (who owns Harris Teeter) doesn’t update to the times, they will go away like Blockbuster and Sears.
Stop logging people out
Do not for any reason ever log people out of the app.
Fix it!!
I am trying to use the Pharmacy portion of the app and I am caught in an endless loop and never make any forward progress. Called Tech support and there was absolutely no help. I was told what I needed to do. I do it and nada happens. I will switch my prescriptions back to CVS. At least their app works! The pharmacy portion of this app is useless. As was the tech help. None of that either. Very disappointed!
Update to app could not be worse
If I could give this app 0 stars I would. The Harris Teeter app has become unusable to me since it has been “updated”. With the update my credit card information was deleted and when I attempt to reenter it I receive an error message telling me to use another card, which I do and receive the same error message. Just as bad, when I complete my shopping list and go to place my order the app cannot find my local store! I have called and emailed for help to no avail. If you want the convenience of online ordering find another grocery store.
Most recent update has problems
I just updated the app and can no longer “Order Ahead.” When I try to “Select Store” I get caught in a loop that keeps sending me back where I started.
