Good economics reference source
Using free version. Don’t know about any subscription, but this is a nice reference and this one is in landscape mode!
Clumsy interface, insufficient data, no comparison tools
The purpose of an app like this is not just to browse through it, but rather to be able to compare data amongst countries; however the interface will only let you see one country at a time, and you really need a notepad to make comparisons. There needs to be comparison tools and chart making tools. Come-on, The Economist, you’re great at making charts, what happened here? My other beef is that there needs to be additional data in the Economy section, including median household income (GDP per capita is not that useful) and maybe even the GINI coefficient.
Too many nonsensical Zeros
Please shape up your act
Paid for it but cannot use subscription
What is going on?? I paid for the subscription but the app will not let me access the unlocked content. I don’t even know what is the recourse for this. Be angry that The Economist just stole a cup of coffee from me? I cannot recommend this app unlike you enjoy getting ripped off.
missing data
e.g., <<Rankings:Economics:Trading Places:Biggest Exporters>> has mostly zeros.
it's hard to imagine this is REALLY the Economist
typos, grammatical errors, even non-sentences. this thing is an embarrassment
Won't update
When there is a data update you can't select to download because the main screen now blocks the alert panel and the notification is forever displayed.
