Useless without a US Sailing account
I get it that they want to make money off the app, but please at least tell me that it’s paywalled *before* I download it. (Also, if it’s verifying a login, how does that work when I don’t have an internet connection? You know, like when I’m out on the water…. where I might want to have “the rules of racing at my fingertips”?)

Although the description says I can see the rules “at all times,” what I think they really mean is “only when you have a live internet connection.” At least, I can’t figure out how to use the app in offline mode with the content downloaded—like when I’m out sailing! Or maybe content can be downloaded…and it’s a UI problem. Great potential, but the must be an offline mode.

Would be nice if hey told you that you need to be a member to use this app. Not one mention except by a reviewer. And the response to that? We’ll add it to the description. Well, that was a month ago and crickets. Keep up the _______ work US Sailing and continue to make it clear you’re in it for the money.

If one is not a member of US Sailing, one must join for $65 per year to use the app and actually see any rules. This should be disclosed in the description. There is no option to purchase access without joining.
