The Most amazing app and Resource

I want to say that I’m still new to all this, and for always being a seeker of the lord and looking for source material on scripture and it being Cannon; I have to say that in all my years have I ever seen such an organized app for scripture and source material, videos, and you name it all in one! I’m so glad that the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is so organized and interested in the welfare of the world to put out such a complete and complex app out there for free! Thank you for sharing the tools ad resources in here to help me on my journey. I thank the Lord for thinking of us all. I thank the church for giving this to the world. Amen

Don’t Download!!!!!

It will infect your phone! I deleted it years ago and it still lingers in some areas of my phone!

A Mess

After pleading, pining, and panting, there have been no changes over spans of years. We’ve pled for a PDF option for all articles in the app. PDF’s are vital. They can be sent via text or email by local leaders, missionaries, teachers, ministering persons, friends, etc, to persons in faith crisis or confused or questioning, missionary contacts, missionaries themselves, seminary students, and anyone struggling. Googled results take us automatically to the lame app instead of to the article on a web page where formerly we were able to make a PDF. Also, end notes of articles are not listed on the article page, nor is article information. They are all hidden elsewhere. You app developers must be skiing on slopes — completely unresponsive to input, feedback, concerns, problems, complaints, or feature needs. Instead you pull fast one, and have volunteers give faux fixes and placate and pacify. It is odd the way you plod. Arise and shine forth! Get off butt! Change, regenerate, reformulate! P.S., latest lameness: recent “update” wiped out our ‘Favorites’ folder. What next? And bugs, bugs.

When it works, it’s fine. It just never works.

Crashes. Refuses to open. Freezes. Takes up to 30 seconds for a response after touching a link. Only partially loads pages. Are people being paid to program this or is this done by service missionaries? If by service, okay, I’ll just go back to the browser and paper. If by pay, please hire new people. I understand it may not be the programmers. Programmers seldom know how their end product behaves. They don’t talk to users. It might be the decision makers, which would be typical.

Needs more stability

I’ve used this app for at least 10 years. And it’s obviously great for many reasons, the main one being the content it makes so easily available. But recently I’ve found myself wanting instead to just use a browser to read scriptures on the church website. I don’t understand what happened to the stability of the app that it had about 8 years ago. I have never had to program a huge app like this of course but I do have some programming knowledge and I swear there is a memory leak in this app. I have no other explanation for why the app takes up 4GB of space on my phone when inside the app itself it says I don’t even have a GB of downloads. Switching screens just doesn’t work either. It always forgets what part of the page I was on and goes back to where I was weeks ago. I wish I could downgrade to how the app uses to be years ago. Maybe I’ll just read online for now.

104 meg? Laughable

As soon as we install it, it downloads 1gig of content and there's literally no way to offload that content. Needs to be pulled from the app store for saying it's just 104 meg to install it.
