The most Simple Home Screen you can imagine. It’s on point: that’s actually the app’s name, it’s just “ . ” a dot – a point. Add your most important + least distracting apps within the app. Download + set the wallpaper. Remove all apps from your dock. And add both the small + large widget to your home screen. It’s super minimalistic. You gonna love it. It breaks your phone habits. Makes you think twice what you actually want to do with your phone. Botched update and no dev support
This app WAS my favorite, hands down beating the similar ‘Blank Spaces’ app. That is, until the latest update. The update changed the app to now function as a shortcuts ‘wrapper’, as well as breaking other small features like removing the ability to rename apps. What’s worse is that there has been no response from the developer, or subsequent update to fix these changes. I previously paid for a yearlong membership, but luckily, received a refund from Apple as this app is no longer functional. I’d recommend other users who previously paid for the in-app upgrade submit a refund request through Apple as well
Doesn’t function properly
The concept is so good and it’s so simple I didn’t think they’d screw it up. I bought a subscription for the year cuz I was enjoying it, but now it lags out and doesn’t open the apps when I pick the title half the time.
A novel idea
I liked the focused minimalism in the app presentation, but the dysfunctionality in the shortcuts is a real downer. Sometimes the links just take me to the shortcut app and stops there. And when they work the fact that it has to cycle through the shortcut app first is tedious and unattractive.
I would use this if the title was blank instead of a dot.
I really like the idea on how it looks, but the dot is kind of annoying. There’s other transparent widget apps that just don’t have a title that look cleaner
Went from 90% great to 20% great with most recent update
HELLO DEVELOPER- If the ease of use is planning on returning, great, please let me know when to expect it. If it’s not, or it’s far down the line, please let me know so I can get a refund. Worked easily up to yesterday but today’s update- • deleted a bunch of my renamed app shortcuts • removed the possiblity of finding the app and creating a shortcut for you • loads the app as an intermediary black screen when you click the app links (it used to seamlessly open the apps) or you have to create a shortcut and is two steps to the desired • As of today I can’t use it Bring back the ease of use pretty please!
Latest update is a step backward
I love this app - or at least, I used to. I tried both this app, and the similar ‘Blank Spaces’, and found this one far superior. However, the developer has taken a step backward with the latest 1.0.3 update. The app now pauses and shows the intermediate launcher in between clicking on and opening the selected app. Visually, this is jarring every time you open an app, and is especially bad for examples like Clock app which require a shortcut to launch. While I’m not sure what’s happening on the backend, this did not happen on the previous 1.0.2 version. Additionally, the functionally to rename apps has been removed. I’m hoping the developer will fix what they ‘updated’ with this latest version. As it is, I don’t find this latest version to be usable.
Good at first but recent update messed it up
New update messed up the feature of going straight to the app now it does this weird shortcut thingy, please fix
