Are you often in meetings and wished you could quickly pull up details of a specific Jira issue? Ever been in management reviews and needed to know how many enhancements are making the release? Traveling and need to know what is going on? Then this app is for you! Mobility for Jira - Basic (previously JIRA Connect) is a simple and fast iPhone app to connect to any Atlassian Jira instance (version 5.0 or above). It uses Jira's RESTful API, which is enabled by default and no configuration changes are generally necessary. The Basic edition has limited functionality. The following features are supported: - Search by Jira key, description, summary, project, version, issue type, status, assignee, and component and sort by any field - Issue details including custom fields, comments, attachments, and issue links - Renders wiki-markup and HTML fields - View all worklog entries of an issue - Ability to enter new comments, vote, and watch issues - Activity stream and details - Basic authentication via HTTP/S (self signed keys are supported) - Responsive and fast UI, utilizing lazy loading, and asynchronous calls Note: Jira is a trademark of Atlassian. Mobility for Jira is not affiliated in any way with Atlassian. All registered trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners.
Very Poor Demo of Paid App
I understand this is basically a trial and the full app isn’t too expensive. The problem is you have so many basic features locked down that I can’t even test the app to decide if I want to buy it. Your app is targeting professionals, I promise they will buy it if you show that the product is good. Loosen up some of the paid features or find a way to at least show us what we get if we hand over the money you’re asking.
Worthless- can't get past the Captcha
I've entered the capatcha perfectly numerous times and it still says invalid. What's the point of having this app if you can't login. Terrible
Can’t do anything unless you buy up
On top of that I couldn’t even view any issues in the free app. I was able to log in but got a server error every time I tried to open an issue. Why am I going to pay when the free version won’t even connect to my Jira instance?
Worthless
Nothing worked. Could not get past captcha step.
Captcha doesn’t work
I keep writing the correct captcha key but it still doesn’t allow me to log in.
You have to pay to Resolve Issues?
Many other ticketing systems use apps so me or my team can resolve issues, or check tickets on the go. I don’t understand why you charge to do this when other companies have it for free. That turned me off to wanting to stay with this platform. I see apps as just another way to access what I could access on my laptop or desktop. As far as reviewing the app, I couldn’t because as soon as I went to resolve a ticket through this app, it wanted me to buy the Pro version. That’s a basic feature that should come with any app for a ticketing system. The login process is easy. Obviously some people might want to contact their IT department before leaving a review based off how hard it is to login. You literally copy the URL, then enter your credentials. It doesn’t get any easier people.
Spam for the pro version
This app is loaded with icons that do nothing but nag to buy the pro version. It's a sleazy sales tactic and I'd rather have no app at all. Honestly, I'm surprised Apple lets this through.
