Description
Pro AI voice keyboard
Lexi is built for people who would like to write faster and better by speaking. Its groundbreaking technology is controlled entirely through voice, powered by OpenAI’s voice recognition technology, and uses ChatGPT as its intelligence engine for editing.

So how does Lexi turn you into a writing pro?
- Accurate Dictation: Accurate dictation, even in the noisiest environments or with a heavy accent. Lexi uses speech recognition built by OpenAI (creator of ChatGPT), which is more precise and accurate than Apple. Supports most languages, so you can even use Lexi in your native language and convert to English.
- Voice-Powered Edits: Speak your editing needs, and Lexi will try its best. A simple "make the second sentence nicer", or complex “provide some examples of countries with high income in the beginning of the paragraph”. Most edits work, but you can always use the undo button if Lexi makes a mistake.
- One-Tap Proofreading: Correct grammar and spelling mistakes with a single tap.
- Adjustable Tones: Lexi can adjust your writing voice to be more appropriate to the situation. For example, Lexi supports the ‘concise', 'professional', and ‘friendly’ tones. Request specific tones at https://ibbi.io/support — more tones coming soon!
- Longform Mode: For complex messages, use Longform. Experiment, iterate, undo, redo — all without leaving the app you're in.
- Works Everywhere: Use Lexi in almost any app where you can type. Supports email, chat, notes, Asana, Notion, and more. If an app isn’t working, please let us know and we will fix it: https://ibbi.io/support

I recommend this app. This app is pretty well made, professionally designed, and written. It needs to be worked on because it has few bugs like (1. Keyboard not coming through. 2. It needs a little improvements. 3. Auto capitalization and auto correction should both have buttons to enable or disable them.).

Just amazing

This is an amazing app. I'd like to express my sincere appreciation to the developers for providing such a wonderful app. Where to begin? Its dictation accuracy is virtually flawless. It can automatically detect the language you're speaking, flawlessly going from English to Spanish. Perhaps most amazingly of all, it can take instruction about how you'd like to change the formatting of what you just input. For example, I like to use it to format input to Duolingo. So I speak in Spanish and it transcribes it well, but it was transcribing the numbers as actual numerals which Duolingo doesn't like. So I asked it to reformat the numerals as being written out in Spanish and it understood and did it just like that. Impressively, after a few times of asking it to reformat numerals, I stopped having to do it because it just learned that I wanted the words written out. If the developers are reading this, I'd just like to suggest a couple additions that would provide a little extra ergonomic polish. It would be nice to have a button that would copy the contents of the text window to the clipboard. And, if possible, return to the app that had invoked the keyboard in the first place. And if possible, paste the contents of the clipboard into the field of the app that the keyboard had been invoked from. If it were possible to do all three of these actions with one click, it would be an ergonomic dream come true.

I love this app

This keyboard is fantastic. It not only flawlessly corrects even the most egregious grammatical errors, but it also boasts three incredibly useful tones. And let's not forget the icing on the cake: it's completely free! However, I do have one suggestion. Adding an auto-correct feature would undoubtedly enhance the keyboard's smoothness and user experience.

I love this keyboard

I love this keyboard. I don't even know how it's free, it's ai is great, it can respell very good and it can help you in different type of situations. If you find yourself in a serious situation, use the warm and professional tone. I think this app is very good.

Why is there no apps like this? AMAZING.

And how is this free?! It would be cool if you added an API option just so that if there were any limitations of some sort, I would love to be able to paste my API key so I’m paying for my own usage through my API. But I’ve looked around everywhere and could not a single app that uses whisper AI integrated with a keyboard! This is exactly what I needed. Thank you.

Keyboard Witchcraft—Pure Magic, but Poor Autocorrect

Let's get this straight: the Lexi keyboard app is like the Tesla of dictation. It leverages OpenAI's Whisper protocol it is a game-changer. It's like having a court stenographer in your pocket; 9 out of 10 times, it nails exactly what I say. And the best part? You don't have to act like a human punctuation mark! Gone are the days of saying "comma" or "period" out loud like you're reading an instruction manual for speaking. This app's dictation is so on point, it makes you wonder why Google, Apple, Dragon, and others can't get on this level. It's like comparing a gourmet meal to fast food—yeah, they're both food, but one clearly outshines the other in quality. Now, it's not all rainbows and butterflies. When it comes to text prediction while typing, Lexi sometimes acts like it's guessing the ending to a complex thriller novel and gets it embarrassingly wrong. Imagine typing fast and expecting coherent sentences, but ending up with a jigsaw puzzle of typos. But just when you think it's time to dock a star, Lexi pulls a rabbit out of the hat with its grammatical autocorrect. Seriously, it's like your personal copy-editor, swooping in to clean up the mess. So while it may stumble when you're in a typing sprint, it’s there to bandage up those typos like a pro. Pros: - OpenAI Whisper protocol is a revolution in dictation. - Say goodbye to awkwardly announcing your punctuation. Cons: - Text prediction can be way off. Would I recommend Lexi? Absolutely. It's like riding in a luxury car that occasionally hits a pothole, but the overall ride is so smooth, you'll hardly notice.
