United StatesESS Mobile is a smart, adaptive app that, when used with your employer's Attendance on Demand system, provides employees with flexible time tracking options. You have access to the information needed to track your hours worked and review schedules or benefit balances. Notifications can be sent when your time card needs action, such as the addition of a missing punch. Messages can be exchanged with your supervisor to record attendance-related activities like an absence or if you will be late for your shift. Using ESS Mobile hourly employees may be able to punch in and out, request time off, or enter tips. For employees that simply report total hours worked multiple time sheet views are available. Additional operations such as entering mileage, expenses, or tips are also available. Contact your payroll administrator or Attendance on Demand service provider for additional details. Note: ESS Mobile uses location services to obtain your location during app usage. Continued use of the app or background GPS tracking can dramatically decrease battery life.
App is crazy!
I’ve erased the app and downloaded it 20 times already and for some reason the button to clock in has disappeared and it doesn’t look like it’s coming back anytime soon. So I have an app that cannot perform one of its sole functions. Amazing

Won’t let me push the continue button when trying to put in companies server number. When I push continue it is like it’s a text bar all it will let me do is write inside the button.

I’ve tried punching in on a number of occasions with this app and it never seems to actually do anything. I’m capable of logging in but not doing much else so at best this app mostly functions as a time card. I know this problem is only exclusive to the IOS version cause I’ve seen coworkers use the app well with Android phones but it’s unfortunate cause clocking out takes a while on the tablets at work.

This app is terrible for a time clock app. Glitchy, temperamental, unreliable, behind the times. It is incredibly frustrating every day.

The accessibility on this app is atrocious, with too many menu options to jump through just to not find what you’re looking for. Want to see your archived time sheets? Maybe they exist, but they sure won’t load for you and there’s no loading indicator so you’ll stare at a white screen wondering if that’s all it’ll give you. Don’t want to horizontally scroll through a two week pay period incessantly or want to take a screenshot of the whole thing to back them up yourself? The app won’t even scale to landscape, with only the left side of the screen showing the vertical aspect ratio. I also work in a tip adjusted position and my pay stubs rarely show my tip percentage/hourly and occasionally my full pay for the period. While that could be an issue with my employer, having such an illegible format is this app doubles down on the confusion.
