Can’t write my email??
The program will not me to write my email?? I was excited to try canary again. I guess that will not happen.

I really wanted this app to work. I paid for the premium and it worked fine for a while. Now preferences, particularly with respect to notification sounds just default to “chirp” regardless of your settings. I have two e-mail accounts and would like to know, by sound, which account received a message, as one account is basically a throwaway account for various reasons. Now every email needs to be checked to ensure I'm not missing something that needs immediate attention. I've sent everything they asked for to fix this issue but it is still a problem. Looks like the only solution is to go back to Spark. It had issues but did a much better job than the current version of Canary.

Threaded emails option to have the convo have new messages down, not at top. Color of the email account on the left side not the right. Files within threads to not show png signatures as files.

Love the AI integration (especially with calendar events), read receipts, tracker blocking, secure sending, and even getting used to the inbox (sorting by buttons above message list), frequent updates with some fixes. Unfortunately as others mentioned, especially on iOS, the basic email stuff is not solid and consistent. Notifications are sometimes duplicated, email refresh and mail sending is sometimes very slow (both iOS and MacOS), message (picture and font) rendering is sometimes hard to read/blurry, if clicked on too quickly after downloading sometimes attachments won’t download, smart notifications sometimes allow newsletters and marketing emails through, the “for you” button takes a while to recognize new emails (sometimes hours) and the UI is more cluttered and dated than similar paid apps. TL;DR: lots of cool new stuff but the basic stuff is a little cluttered, slow and a bit janky.

Don’t know why wanting to use the email app on my MacBook and iPhone would double the price. Guess I’ll just use my iPad as a dedicated email device 🤷🏻♂️
