Cintiq replacement
I love this app. For me it’s a super portable cintiq. Not a full replacement if you’re on it all the time, but definitely works great.
IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A REFUND
I purchased this app by accident. I was denied a refund twice because the developer listed it as an in-app purchase which it is not. In fairness - this may be a good app. However I am not able to use it at all. To not be able to be refunded due to an accidental purchase is unbelievable. A waste of $30…
Amazing control
Makes Rebelle on my M1 Mac almost as good as Procreate…better in some ways. And AP tames this difficult painting program. Trying the Studio version, too. The added features like on-screen keyboard, additional controls are nice, but the basic AP is probably all that I need. Still trying out both (I’ve had AP basic for years). My poor Wacom…such a wonder in its on right, but it is now no longer my first choice.
I was initially hesitant at first... And it's awesome!
I was initially hesitant about purchasing this, as I imagined that there would be lag.... But there was little or no lag over WiFi!! Love it and yeap oneoc my best purchases.
Life Saver
When the new iPad Pro came out, I was like I’m on it. Downloaded Illustrator for iPad and started playing with it. Then I realize I can’t use any custom brushes. So disappointing. I started downloading and playing with all the other drawing apps and all with frustration that it was not all vector based. I forgot all about Astropad, which I came across a few years ago when I had to set up my boss with an iMac. I launched Astropad and bingo. So easy to use. One hand on the pencil and one hand on my shortcuts with my MacBook. Thanks Astropad.
Doesn’t do what it claims to do
I want the ability to create instruction videos for programs by circling buttons, making notes on the screen, showing people my screen on Teams and marking it up, using my iPad and Apple Pencil but having the markups show up on the computer screen so I can record it with Ishowu and editing it down for a short video from a long session. This will only work with programs that already let you do that with a drawing function on the program, like sketch programs or pdf pro. It’s a very limited program, and not worth ten cents to me. Sorry - you could make this sooooo much more useful.
Love it
If you have an iPad you don’t need a drawing tablet this will save your life
- Improved support for iPad mini (6th generation)
