I've used 2do for a few years for personal lists. But I relied on insanely expensive project management apps. I tried to get used to their awkward interfaces and work around their complexities. But nothing was as intuitive or as easy to use as 2do. So I moved all my work projects over to 2do, and it's been awesome. For the first time, I actually like opening my PM app in the morning and using it as my hub. I actually acheived a zero in-box and am maintaining it. Support is great, too, BTW.

This has every function needed or one coud think of and it works rock-solid. For years, the developer has made improvements and pumped our regular updates to address issues with OS updates and to keep things working across devices. A study in perfect utilitarianism and stick-to-it-tiveness that all developers should strive for. Excellent work Beehive, I deeply appreciate your long-term attention to this critical app!

I've been immersed in the Dr. Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and dilligently continue to reference its extremely valuable material on a weekly basis. I've recently gone head-first into developing a life and project management system around a piece of software that works for me in all major aspects of life. After testing out several stand-out software packages, running their trials, and even subscribing to a few to make sure they would suffice, I have finally decided on package. It happens to be one I purchased many years ago and have been using to collect and maintain certain types of data (reusable checklists, brain dump for long-term or future ideas, etc.). I decided to dedicate all focus to re-vamping everything—all my lists, folders, tags... everything—and just start over from scratch. After spending about 3 weeks in the software, I developed my working system. The system been working extremely well for me on a daily basis without overwhelming me with tasks or letting me miss important and/or urgent tasks or initiatives. It's just about perfect. 2Do does everything I need—and just about everything I want—it to do. It's incredibly flexible and can be customized in so many ways. Smart folders allow automatic collection of tasks or projects that have certain tags, or a certain priority, a star, a start date... or perhaps a combination of these. Not only has the developer has created an asthetically-beautiful, user-friendly and smoothly-operating software (which has now been established for many years), but he continues to work on it, improve upon it and ensure a stable and reliable application environment. For me, it took understanding the 7 Habits in order to design the right system for me. But as for the right software, 2Do has been the only piece so far that fits the bill in just about every way I could hope for. Of course I'd love to see an Eisenhower matrix and a Gantt chart, but for now, Smart folders easily suffice in both an impressive implemenation and a very clean UI. GET THIS SOFTWARE AND BUY IT and support indie software devs so we can keep using masterpieces like 2Do!

Got this initially on my iPod Touch 2. Bought the Mac version as well and have used it since. As I do every so often, I examine similar offerings, looking to perhaps change. But I keep coming back to this. Nothing else seems to be close in terms of functionality and features.

I just want to say that 2Do is the absolute best task manager. I have tried all of the highest rated task managers out there and not a single one can perform as well and has completely as 2Do. They all have some shortcoming that prevents them from being a top pick above 2Do. There is very little that can be done to improve 2Do. I would love to see the sidebar on the Mac application be user collapsible or hidden and possibly a Calendar integration that would allow me to see scheduled tasks along with my calendar events and a snooze feature fot notifications. But that's it. A fantastic piece of software. Thank you so much.

I purchased this app because I have it on my iphone, so I decided to buy it to use it on my mac, but I tried to sync my information on my phone to my mac It's really complex and didn't work with me, so can i have my money back please.

I've tried many different List Apps, and I'd change every few months because I couldnt make the app do what I needed, it didn't "Get Me" or how I worked. (Truth be told, I wasn't sure how I worked either, but I knew when I ran into resistence I wasn't in the right place.) I've stopped looking. 2do is hands-down the most adaptable and deep app I have found. I've been using it for a few years now and honestly, the best apps are the ones you don't have to think about, they just work. Sure there was a little learning curve, but that it to be expected, and overall it is a Joy to use. How many apps could I say that about?! 2do. Boom. I love it.
