At first this was very frustrating but you just have to figure it out. If you do not have a tripod someone will have to hold it up for you but it is still very fun. It is a little wonky thought. By the way, do not listen to the bad reviews

All of the bad reviews came from the people who don’t know how to use the app. How you actually use the app is you get a flash light and you hit the record button and you record yourself waving the flashlight around to make a design. See not that hard.

I was worried about the negative reviews when downloading, but I found the app enjoyable and easy... Reading more into the reviews, it seems that those who are more negative have little to no understanding about how exposure works.

Ok, people do not know how to use this. use in very dark conditions, you ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE FOR REGULAR PHOTOGRAPHY!! yes, your face will be blurry but you shouldn’t be able to see your face as your supposed to be in a dimly lit space! This is a really cool app! If you use it properly!! Stop hating because you can’t use it as directed. It is literally called light painting, not camera or photography. It is a really nice app! The one star reviews are just people that don’t know how to use properly. Nice app! By the way stand far away so it doesn’t just become a whole screen of white. :) hope I could help
