Down hill since the original team left
The app is falling apart. No one is curating content like they once did. There is a clear money grab aspect to running the company now. Lots of the hardcore content creators bailed and its now echo chambers full with the vocal minority shoving their views on others. Also some creep who makes my little pony pr0n comics has taken over the front page because most users reported and blocked him but new management wants this content to be the first thing new users view apparently.

Imgur is a good place to mindlessly scroll and seek mini good mood bursts. It’s definitely got bugs, trolls, and bots but who doesn’t at this point? For me, the pros outweigh the cons. Pros: cute animals, new and old memes (I don’t care if they’re reposts as long as they make me smile), and a sort of community within certain posts. Cons: occasional glitches and interruptions of service. The last several months we’ve all been seeing that the server is at capacity and to try again later. Support has always been fairly timely with responding to issues I’ve had. Give it a go.

FIXES IN VERSION 2024.04.02 My eraser has malfunctioned. An ongoing issue causing errors on editing posts has been resolved. Do a little de-duping. Fixed a rare bug that would occasionally duplicate and stack advertisements at the top of feeds. Erroneously empty. A bug causing the following feed to appear barren has been resolved.
