App doesn’t work at all
I’ve tried to connect my Brave 4 at least 30 times trying every scenario I can think of. It says it’s connected to the WiFi but the app says wrong WiFi network. Whatever.
Decent app, camera is great
For the money, it's hard to beat. The app is fine (not the nicest, just ok). I really, really wish there would be an iPad version of the app. If i'm going to edit video, it's not going to be on my phone. Good job Akaso with hardware, now work on your software :)
New user extremely disappointed
Purchased the AKASO BRAVO 7 this camera will not connect with the Wi-Fi or the app battery life is not very good camera over heats this was a waste of money and time. If possible can or will customer service reach out to resolve all issues.
Not even necessary
Connectivity is a problem and the requirement of Location is a problem. The fact that these have been trouble issues for years now and have not been resolved, combined with my own experience, makes me suspect the app is little more than spyware. The app demands Location because it wants to use your media for its own marketing purposes without compensation or VOLUNTARY express permission. That and the reported WiFi connectivity issues are suspicious to me. Not to worry! The camera works perfectly without using the WiFi or the app at all! Simply get a microSD to SD adapter and put the images directly onto your computer. By adding an iPhone SD card reader (I found one on Amazon for around 20 bucks), you can use the adapter to dump the images directly into the Files folder on your iPhone. I’m sure similar hardware is available for Android phones too. I’ve played with the app and I’ve never had a WiFi connectivity problem, but the app not necessary to enjoy the camera! You just need a couple extra pieces of inexpensive hardware.
The app NEVER works
I haven’t been able to access/connect to my camera for 2 years now! Useless app
Devs pls read
Love the app I’m doing decent on it. Go follow therealryan. But what this is Actually about is, you need live-streaming. Besides that the app is great!
Borderline unusable
Why can’t I use this app with location disabled? I just want to get videos off the camera. You do not need my location. Stop trying to make this a social app.
