Bad news
The San Antonio Express News pretends it is a real newspaper. It isn’t. Its inexperienced and underpaid staff produce a product that is laughable and amateurish. No editors correct and challenge starting reporters who file shallow stories, maybe because owner Hearst has apparently fired most editors to cut costs. I don’t read this poor paper for laughs. It’s for tears for what it has been. But it is owned by a $2 billion corporation that is clearly uninterested in reporting the substantive news in the country’s seventh largest city. It’s our loss when the New York bean counters run the San Antonio asylum.

Buggy, No Longer Working
The app no longer recognizes subscriptions and is basically useless. App developers don't seem to care that they're ripping off customers who are paying for access through the Apple app.
Hard to come by . . .
I subscribe to a “morning paper” that rarely gets delivered before 2:00 PM. And, when it does get here, it is thrown in my bushes, flower bed or on the rocks in our culvert! My driveway is 18 feet wide and over 50 yards long. But, our drive-by delivery driver can’t seem to hit it. I have decided to cancel my weekday subscription and just go with Sunday deliver. 🤷♂️
They don’t care
Cannot access digital edition. Called numerous times and their default reply is to uninstall and reinstall app. This does not fix the issue and I agree with what others say they just don’t care.
Unhappy Express news reader
I am not allowed to view stories am locked out plan to cut off subscription because I get no service. I’m wasted money and the amount keeps going up. NOBODY answers the phone NOBODY cares. I bet no one will read this or care
App OK, website not so much
I subscribe to the app but can’t log on to the website. I don’t know if I need to pay extra for that, though I don’t think I should need to.
