Never loads
I just get the logo while I wait and wait and wait. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still nothing.
Um…what?
I downloaded the app today at a trailhead. The opening screen is just the logo…and that’s as far as this app wants to go. I tried it again at home with internet…nope. The mystery as to what TREAD does continues.
Not loading
Stuck on splash screen. Support page and developer website displays web page error 503.
Lacking & Overheats Phone
This app is not only incredibly frustrating to use, it also makes my phone heat up to the point that it’s very hot to the touch. As soon as I stop this app, my phone starts cooling down. This happens even if it’s the only app I have open. It also provides little useful detail and makes it hard to find trails/destinations. I’ve tried it several times, including after updating the app. This app will immediately be removed from my phone.
Weak, very weak
Downloaded this app as the advertisement on facebook looked great. But after that. It was very weak. Even the popular trails like maple loop had zilch for feedback, snow on trail or tree fells reports. All trails is much better.
Tiny text
Just installed this app. It looks like it could be pretty cool, if I could read it. The text is very small with no option to make it larger. I will likely choose WTA or All Trails apps first.
Requires Cell Phone
I use apps on my iPad. The registration requires entry of a “phone number” it the sends a confirmation text to that number. If it is not a cell phone, you obviously do not get text and there is no way to use the App. Just a wast of time.
