Click on any point, trail or area to get more information including what sports are allowed on the trails, what pass is required at the trailhead, what facilities are available, links to the avalanche forecast covering each recreation area, recreation land information and rules. The maps even show  the Snotel monitoring sites with a link to the current readings so you can check the snow depth before heading out. Use  the filters and search functions to find the perfect destination or to find a business that has what you need. While you are on the trail you can use your GPS  to plot your location and navigate even without cell service, just make sure you download the regions before you hit the trail.
