The UE Custom App allows you to customize the EQ settings of your Ultimate Ears custom fit earphones. Choose from presets optimized for different listening experiences from podcasts to heavy bass or create and save your own.
Needs Updated and Refreshed!
I consistently use my UE 11 Pros with UE’s Bluetooth cable setup. They’ve felt aged and out dated for a few years now. For the $1,500+ investment I have in the IEMs, it would be great for the developers to make some updates. I’m on my fifth pair of $100 Bluetooth cables. They are clunky, wear out quickly, and feel cheap. Disappointing pairing for such an incredible set of buds.
Wow!
This app makes all the difference when using Ultimate Ear's custom IEM. I rebooted my iPhone 12 Pro Max and was instantly connected. I do not regret my investment!
App does not connect to headphones
Waste of money
Took a bit to connect but a decent addition
Took a little bit to get this to work on my phone (iPhone 12 pro). But after just turning my UEs off and on it finally connected. Overall the presets works well. Would be great to allow a few in app songs to test as you play with the settings. This would help alot with the “custom” mode. At times that can feel a bit less user friendly in its current state.
Easy and perfect!
Just downloaded this last night. I didn’t have high expectations given the other reviews. I had absolutely zero issues connecting the IPX Bluetooth Cable to my custom IEMs. The presets are great as is the ability to customize your personalized EQ.
Does not work with Foster TM2
The CSX 18+ connects to the Bluetooth TM2 just fine and sound awesome. But, Foster TM2 App is not available in the USA and the UE Custom app doesn’t work either. Good concept but falls short of what they could be at least on iPhone. Also, doesn’t connect to the iPhone with true wireless. Because of this I drop the overall rating to 7/10 for the earphones. They could easily be 10/10 if everything worked
No. Just no.
I paid a ridiculous amount of money for custom earbuds that come with an app. I’ve connected to Bluetooth and can hear but won’t connect to app, no matter what I try. Therefore, I have an experience sure pair of crappy earbuds and am unable to try to make them sound better. What a ripoff. My $20 pair are much better
