EQ Setting Missing
The app does not have the EQ settings or option to do the hearing test for customization. Was this feature removed by the developer?
Good but…
I have to uninstall/reinstall any time I want it to work. They’re connected to my phone, playing music and working as they should but the app seems to disagree. Might return the headphones completely since I have to jump through hoops just to use them as intended.
No support for App
After the hearing test it tells me there is no internet connection on my iPhone. (iPhone is on wifi and data is turned on). So where do turn for help? Nowhere. Nothing. Nada. Nothing.
Hey, a hardware companion app that isn’t buggy and useless :)
The app does everything it’s supposed which makes my Amiron Wireless invaluable to me. The only suggestions I have is it would be nice if it gave a read out of the headphones battery charge percentage, as it is it gives a small battery icon that is however much filled. And it would be nice if there was more eq options, as it is there is only a handful to choose from.
Good app for Amazing Headphones
Very simple and intuitive App to set up the Headphones and make them even better than they were out of the box. I like that you do not have to sign up / create another account if you do not want. But I would like the option to connect it to my Beyerdynamic account instead of making a new Mimi? account somewhere else.. The customization is great and makes a difference. Once set up you will hardly ever need the app again.
App is getting better but...
The App is getting significantly better than where JT was a year ago. It’s still lagging a bit behind JBL’s app, mainly in the EQ features. I’d absolutely love to be able to create my own EQ preset or edit the current preset ones given. The V-shape one is very close to what I like but not perfect yet. I also wish the EQ settings weren’t hidden in the specific headphones settings page versus on the front with the sound personalization. The app also still takes its time to connect to my headphones at times (Amiron Wireless.) I’d say 3 stars is fair for now. If these two things are changed, will certainly be a 5. Especially custom EQ’s!
Sound dosage is useless
First off most of the app works great, it’s nice to be able to turn off certain features that made the headphones annoying like the auto-off. However the sound dosage hasn’t reset since I got my second pair (returned the Lagoon explorer for the traveler). I only use these around 3 hours a day and it’s well over 150% now.
