Almost a year after the highly celebrated publishing of the first MagicDeathEye plugin, it is now time to present the “bigger brother” of Ian Sefchick’s first creation to the world: meet MagicDeathEyeStereo, a tube compressor with an integrated EQ circuit designed especially for all your mastering needs. We have taken everything we’ve learned from the first version and created a true emulation of what can only be described as a very fine piece of audio hardware. While similar in their overall signature sound, both products have their own dedicated areas of expertise: the “mono” version (well, not actually mono in plugin format) more on individual tracks, the stereo version to glue the whole mix together, with an even smoother compression curve, and lots of little goodies that will help you finalize your mix. The stereo compressor is two mono compressor circuits with some extras designed for mastering and buss compression duties. This new version has an added EQ section. There are two (boost only) bands with two frequency selections each. The EQ is worked into the Variable Mu tube gain structure. This means it is not before or after the compression section, it is within it! The EQ circuit is inductor based and has wide curves for giving program material that “little something”. There is also a two frequency low cut for tightening up out of control bass. The boost of the bands can be 5dB or 3dB split between 5 steps. I spent a lot of time shaping this EQ mastering everyday and fine tuning the components on the weekends. It sounds absolutely fabulous!
Wonderful
This compressor was one of my first app purchases and still one of my most used. Working on purchasing all of you apps! Thank you for the most recent update, it really helps on cpu usage! Hope to see more from you on iOS
Love all your apps ! Please consider AUv3 of the strip next on iOS

I see no one else mentioned it..
Don’t get me wrong.. BEST compressor on the iPad on my eyes (Been producing on iPad since 2012). The CPU though... I know it’s not easy to do but can y’all try to make it not so taxing on CPU? I even use just one instance of it on an aux so I can just send all my other tracks to it and it quickly starts to slow down/crash my sessions. I’m in beat maker 3 and auria btw.
The most realistic hardware style analog stereo compressor on iOS
Incredible. The single channel version was a revelation and now this bus compressor puts serious quality mixing & mastering on the iPad format. People may get sticker shock but this isn’t a “regular app”. It’s no bird game for .99cents. This is a serious music production tool on par with the best desktop plugins. I’ve bought every DDMF AU app and would love to see them bring TheStrip to iOS as well. Highly recommended.
