Bad teamwork and communication
Working in Albq, NM for Shiftmed who has their contract with PRESbyterian and it’s is so frustrating. They do not like you as agency, no teamwork, and no communication but gossip. I just don’t know where to start with this. You get ban quick even when you have doctor note and your expandable. Shiftmed does not help you pay any of your vaccines etc,…

Trust me, this app is not worth your time. These people will scam you. First off, the onboarding process is unnecessarily tedious and long. Even when you have all of your credentials, it’ll take them “3 business days” to verify only ONE document at a time. Live chat is a hot mess as well. You have no way to start a new chat with a different agent, you just have to send a message to the same chat and HOPE someone gets back with you. Not good if you need answers immediately. You could call customer service, but they’re not helpful at all and hardly understand English. Zero problem solving skills whatsoever. After waiting like 2 weeks just to get verified, you’ll see that all of the “shifts” you were able to see before becoming active are no longer there. It took 48 minutes of me being on a phone call with an agent to tell me that it’s apart of Shiftmed’s “marketing tactic.” So scamming people is apart of your marketing tactic? Before becoming verified, I saw 66 shifts that were in cities near mine. They had the name of the facility, the pay rate, the date of the shift posted, and a button next to it that lets you “claim” the shift. The agent on the phone tried to gaslight me and talk to me as if I’m stupid. I tried to be understanding and polite at first, but ended up losing my patience because this is just ridiculous. I am a mother and I have a family I need to provide for. Lying like this is honestly just sick in my opinion. So if you made it this far reading my review, do yourself a favor and take my advice. THIS APP IS NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. These people will lie to you and scam you.

This App leaves a lot to be desired. First, you only allowed to clock in 5 minutes before your shift starts (they don’t care or understand that you are taking over a shift from another human being who has just worked 12 hours and has been standing on their feet, taking care of many other people’s needs). Second, there is always trouble with being able to clock in. With my last shift, the app wouldn’t allow me to clock in until 9:30am. This is an unnecessary, extra stress, that no nurse needs. This just goes to show that whoever runs this platform, has never worked a day as a nurse, otherwise they would never allow this. Third, their help center part leaves a lot to be desired. In my opinion, as soon as a nurse can’t clock into a shift there should be an option to connect to a real person to get the issue resolved as soon as possible, so that the nurse can focus on the patients that they have been hired to take care of. My advice to other nurses is to find another app because you will work so hard just getting to get your account up and running (they make you upload so much nonsense just to be able to schedule to work that a few times I almost gave up… like needing to upload a recent physical note from my doctor like I was going to camp.. lol) I’m just looking out for my fellow healthcare workers. Other Apps pay better, too. Come on ShiftMed!!!! Do Better!!!

This agency has little RN shift availability. I contacted them to inquire what cities and states RN shifts are located. Unfortunately, I was told that ShiftMed doesn't have the ability to tell me the cities and states with available RN shifts. In addition, ShiftMed keeps the shifts locked and doesn't give accurate information about unlocking shifts. This is an awful app/company. I'll be contacting this company to delete my profile shortly.

For an agency, they don’t pay well. The base pay should be at least 23/Hr in 2024 FOR AN AGENCY . they do have bonuses at times but to be quite honest that’s my least favorite “Agency App”

After I worked a 16hr shift and had to change my bank acct information still thinking I would get paid at the end of my shift. Now I have to wait TWO day for my banking acct to be verified and on top of that I won’t get paid until next week cause I guess the pay cycle ended the night I work. I honestly hate this agency, I use to work for them a while back but now I see why I left. DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF ALL MONEY ISNT GOOD MONEY!!!! Wish I could rate this with ZERO stars

After you enter all your information you also need a friend or family member to authenticate who you are and that’s ridiculous and there’s no physical agent or live customer service number for you to actually contact them!!!! If you have had a problem report the app to the Apple support scroll down and select report!
