HepCalc is a collection of liver related calculators, web links, resources, and editable web links and clinical notes. ◆ Unlike most calculators, entry data is preserved between different calculators limiting the need for reentry of data. ◆ Set your own favorite web links ◆ Save clinical notes, clinical "pearls" in a organized fashion ◆ Integrated U.S. - SI units conversion ◆ Each calculator has a related web reference A must have for the clinician/house officer dealing with liver disease. Very useful.
Includes MELD 3.0. Addition of VOCAL-Penn surgical risk calculator would be a plus.
Hepatologist
This continues to be a great tool for clinicians caring for liver patients, whether you are a gastroenterologist, hepatologist, NP or PA. The HCV treatment date calculator and CLIF-C score were great additions and show the depth and range of the tools offered on this app. It is well worth the couple dollars. I use it several times a day for MELD, Childs Pugh, BMI, HCV rx date calculator, and a few times a week for more complex functions (Lille score, fibrosis scores, CLIF-C score). Links to websites like AASLD guideline and Livertox also quite helpful. It's all in one app! Highly recommended.
Great Tool
Very well done app. Useful daily for hepatologist, internest, PAs, or support staff. Highly recommended.
