Attempted to get verified to use the app to its full potential. Absolutely love the idea and privacy this helps create when I’m on call and using my personal cell. Sent in my information to be verified. Week later nothing, says I would be notified in 2 business days with update on status. I reached out and was asked for my AANC or AANP certificate, which I do not have. PNCB certificate was not accepted. I requested escalation of problem and am waiting for a response. This is very frustrating.

In these days of EHRs and managing patient issues outside of clinic, the dialer is a great help. Also, I love the AI chat feature - it’s fun to bounce ideas off the bot, and to get help with denial letters.

I joined Doximity as a dentist who provides mobile dental care to homebound patients and those residing in assisted living facilities. Sometimes the patients have complex medical histories that require communication with their primary care physician or cardiologist prior to critical dental care (extraction, incision and drainage, prophylaxis/debridements). Since I do not have a physical office, this service and app would have been very useful to me, especially for features such as sending and receiving faxes with sensitive medical information via the app or even the website. But after signing up and getting verified, I found they deny this feature and exclude dentists from it, while all other medical professionals including students have access. I find this to be disrespectful and devalues the importance of dental healthcare.
