The most comprehensive CT Anatomy Atlas in the AppStore *** Recommended by the independent review site iMedicalApps.com: "CT Anatomy is a useful radiology app that helps educate the user on normal human anatomy seen on the CT. It is great for learning general anatomy or showing patients a normal CT scan for comparison. The app has a full body CT scan and uses color coded pins to label the anatomic structures." * http://www.auntminnie.com/index.aspx?sec=nws&sub=rad&pag=dis&ItemID=112160 **(http://www.imedicalapps.com/2013/02/ct-anatomy-app-full-body-ct/#comment-66505) Don't settle for less. Cannot turn off assist dots
The app works just as advertised, however there is no option to turn of the Dots that assist in anatomy identification. In other words, there is no way to review it like an actual CT scan. The app is very well executed otherwise, however, to be a truly comprehensive teaching tool, should have to option to toggle windows at all times. Should be able to view the bone window throughout the abdomen for example. The ability to select with or without IV/Oral contrast would make it absolutely comprehensive. A laser pointing tool would be nice too. In summary, very well executed and works well, but lacking many features that I would expect for a premium priced product.
Very good for beginners
I'm very happy with this app and also bought the coronal view function. I think that should be great to include a woman body and also a saggital view. Why don't you create an "MRI Anatomy" with the same interface? I would pay for it!
Great app but needs update
Please update software to improve compatibility with iPhone X
Best CT Anatomy App
I am a Radiologic Technologist who is looking to further their education and become a CT tech. I have tried all of the cross sectional anatomy apps available thus far and find that this is by far the best one. I have recently found that the three dots on the bottom of the screen pull up information about the selected part which is a huge benefit. I would really like if the app also showed a visual representation of the level you are at (from a anterior to posterior perspective) but perhaps that will come along in a future update. This is definitely the best app to use when learning specifically CT anatomy.
Awesome anatomy review
This is definitely the go to app for cat scan anatomy reference
CT ANOTOMY
Awesome in exploring CT but yet moreover learning the pro and con💃🏽
Needs content
It's easy to navigate and easy to track structures. My only complaint is that there is only a single set of scans. It would be infinitely more useful if there were more sets of scans of people with differing anatomy. Surely not every scan will be this prototypical?
