Issues
The text is small. Tried zooming in on chart note, doesn’t let it. Doesn’t use system font, tried increasing, doesn’t work.
Crashorama
Crashes when tapping on schedule at the bottom of the screen. Crashes when sending meds. Useless. Non-Advanced.
Mostly functional, weird errors
I get a few errors sometimes that prevent me from doing anything. Most frequently an error that says “the data could not be read because it is not in the correct format.” This has prevented me from seeing the schedule and has affected my work ever-so-slightly.
Not terribly intuitive
Not the most intuitive functions. The interface looks pretty. Just discovered I can’t send a requested refill from my phone because it requires the patient’s vital signs (there is no obvious override option). Barriers like this make it difficult to find this useful.
User unfriendly
Probably the biggest reason of provider burnout is this piece of software.
Recommend you choose another EMR
ADMD doesn’t live up to to its advertising. Our practice chose this system after reading reviews and now we regret it. What we got and what we were told we were getting are far apart. There’s so much manual entry, missing codes, tests, orders, lab sets, etc. We’ve been waiting for months for our Health Information Network interface-still hasn’t happened. I could go on but it would TLDR. We’re now exploring other systems that do a lot more, do what they say and alleviate the manual entry and streamline workflow. We wanted a system that improved workflow and reduce charting time. Didn't happen.
Repetitive
Incredible frustrating and redundant. It takes about 3 clicks to get what could previously been accomplished with 1 click done, which increases the time spent charting by hours. Not user friendly and not nearly as customizable as it was marketed as.
- Telemedicine sessions was unable to start at times. This no longer is occurring. - Immunization Lot number was not pulling to app from desktop immunization system. The Lot number now pulls in. - Printing a chart auto saved a document when printing on an iPad. Now it prints without auto saving a document. We also addressed other bugs and inefficiencies to help the system run better.
