Horrible App, Decent Slow Cooker
The app for this slow cooker is horrible. It was never great to begin with, but has gotten worse. I’ve not been able to connect it to my WiFi over the last couple of years no matter how many times I tried. It just gets stuck during setup. I decided to try again today since I’m using the slow cooker. I reset my password and it won’t take the new password (I know I’m typing it correctly) so I tried to reset again with something a bit shorter. Now every time I open the app it crashes before I can even get to the login screen. The app is not usable which means the WiFi capabilities of the slow cooker are pointless. The slow cooker works fine, but when I bought it, I bought it for the smart home capabilities and I can’t even use it. Definitely don’t recommend.

While trying today to resolve WI-FI connectivity issues I finally called customer service. They informed me the app is no longer supported and WiFi will not work. Service rep was great. Really poor of Black + Decker to screw it's customers. Will not buy another Black + Decker product!!

I loved this crockpot with Wi-Fi capabilities until the app stopped working. I have tried everything and it will no longer connect. I deleted the app for a while & just re-installed it, and now the app just closes out on its own when I try to log in, so I can’t even attempt to connect it 😭 Very disappointing
