Wish did not have to pay.
Why do you have to pay to talk to people. I just wanted to make mommy friends. Talking to people on a mommy app should be free. It’s not like we don’t have diapers, food, and other essentials to buy with that money the app want’s for a subscription.

Granted, the conversations in the DMs have been cool and cordial, I’m chatting with a few kind mommas out there right now. But, warning, forums are a cesspool of women who are rude, impolite, judgmental, putting one another down, calling each other names, having no class at all. It’s disappointing to see and only adds anxiety when you’re trying to just build community.

The app used to be a lot cheaper and you could see “waves” from other moms for free. Now it feels like a cash grab and it’s really difficult to connect with other people. What a shame!

Normally I don’t leave reviews but I had seen good reviews of this app and thought I’d give it a try as a first time mom, but there were men on the app requesting Snapchat information and I just did not feel safe on the app. I was also charged the 24.99 for the free trial and couldn’t get it refunded through apple. I do not recommend this app it seems sketchy and like a scam.

Okay so I used Peanut for my first little one and made great connections - now I’ve moved and also expecting another little one so I decided to download the app again. That said, it charges for “waves” or to connect with anyone unless you click to message them directly. I considered the pro option, but it’s crazy expensive. WHYYYY PEANUT?! Being a mommy is already expensive enough. Not to mention I’ve put the location for 15 miles and it’s giving people over an hour away from me. This WAS a great app years ago, not so much now.

Its a cool idea but you have to pay to wave “hi Barbie! 👋🏻” and not knowing anything or just about anyone unless you pay for it - including using filters that would find people more like yourself. 👎🏻
