Invasive and unfair
I never subscribed but purchased several issues which I am now denied access to because I will not “create an account” allowing them to track me and sell my personal information. This was NOT part of the purchase agreement. It was only an exchange of money which I provided in good faith. Those issues belong to me. I paid for them and I should be allowed to read them or my money should be returned.

I enjoy this magazine but I want my money back. After subscribing for years I’m being denied access to issues I’ve already paid for unless I set up an account. I have no intention of ever doing that. I do not accept that my privacy is part of the cost; setting up an account was not required to subscribe. If they intend to require it then people should have to set up the account before money changes hands.

I subscribe to 5 garden magazines. Gardens Illistrated is my favorite. My one complaint is that I can’t get it in landscape. It is so much easier to read when you can turn the phone sideways and read whole sentences in print large enough to see.

The content of the magazine is great, but I’ve had nothing but problems getting the application to function. I download content, only to find out it’s unavailable the next day. Constant issues with being able to view previously downloaded content. Really a shame, because the content is fantastic. App support is sketchy at best. No resolution to my issues other than asking whether I’ve logged in through Apple or direct to the magazine publisher. Have reloaded the app three times, still performs the same way. Not at all what I would expect from such a great magazine.
