Great charger hardware but pathetic app
The charger is hugely limited by the capabilities or lack of them in the app. The app is very poorly thought out with several lacking features. There are graphs but there are severely limited in how you interact with them. Switching from watts to amps to currency on the graph requires 2-3 clicks through buried menus versus being able to simply touch the unit on the graph. The UI/UX feels like it was designed for a 8 year old. Common guys, do better than just throwing something together in a month and hoping folks like it.
Hardware is great, app not so much
The app is basically only good for setting a charging schedule or switching the EV charge on/off. Graphs and data are hard to digest. If you charge at the beginning of a month, you can’t see reliable data because the app and graph default that charge session to the previous month. App needs drastic improvements.
app is outdated
Insist that the most accurate way to measure a 50amp breaker is to attached two sensors, one on each pole 25x2. The same goes for 30amps 15x2. The problem is the app cannot combine the two poles and give you the average. So you have two separate values and two separate names like EV on your list. This is an easy fix that a 12 year old coder can fix that they’ve been promising to work on for the last 3 years. I understand they, not a Silicon Valley company but someone from UPwork can fix this for $200.
App no longer works
Feb 28 was the last day any data was recorded. Is it the app or the hardware or the utility (SCE)? No indication whatsoever, and that’s a major problem because we have no idea where to look for a fix.
useful monitoring our solar-system equipped house
When will we be able to run it on Mac (Apple silicon)?
Good hardware, bad software
The software ui is so bad, u think it will work but as time passes u hate it more
Nearly impossible to compare circuits
The app is good for about one day. Once you want to do things like compare two sensors on the same graph or look for trends over time, the app is no good. Hint: stop auto sizing the y-axis (energy). Impossible to scroll over time because the y-axis might scale 1000x, just so that the highest value on screen fills the range. Add that to only viewing one graph at a time and you have to really work hard to get insights about your home. Terrible design.
