Not as good as the Window Version
The software isn't as good as the Windows version. I wish I could connect to a database for input and not just a .csv file.
Makes the Label Maker that much Better!
The application comes with a whole host of images and formatting tools that make it very easy to make labels that add a visual cue.
P-Touch Editor ver 5
For a long time I had to run Windows 10 with Parallels on my Mac to use the P-Touch Editor. I was pleased to find this version for Mac which worked well with my new Mac with M1 Chip. There is a learning curve with this version, and it isn't very intuitive.
Wonderful
Very easy to use and polished, kudos to the team that built this!
Feedom to design my own
This is a very useful tool to design my own labels for my product. Highly recommended.
Had to buy a new printer -- UGH
Apparently Brother couldn't get their keyboard / USB printer software to work with the latest version of MACOS, so you have to buy a new keyboardless printer. UGH! And even though the printer uses Bluetooth to connect to phones and tablets, they somehow couldn't get BT to run with a Mac, so you have to use a wire. And if your Mac is USB-C, you have to buy an adaptor. Brother should only get 2 stars for screwing over good customers, but I am giving them a charitable 4 because the softwre does work and is reasonably easy to use. But honestly, if I didn't have a drawer full of TZ tapes I would have moved to a different system in protest.
Fixed a printing issue with PT-9700PC/9800PCN.
