Really missing the previous version of this app.

The new version of this app no longer allows me to login. I have reset my password at least 10+ times at this point and still no luck. Very frustrating and inconvenient. Also want to point out that it has been this way for over a month and a half with no resolve.

The previous version of this app (circa 2022) worked flawlessly for me. The new version provided by Egym (?) is laggy, crashes often, and frequently gives me errors for silly things. For example, there are navigation tabs to the group class schedule, or a button from the home page. Only one of these options seems to work at any given time, but I frequently receive crash errors, and it always takes more than 10 seconds to load. It is hard to browse classes bc every time I click “back” after viewing a class description, I am booted back to the current day, regardless of the day I was browsing before. This did not happen with the previous app. It also has not updated my home location/club even though it has changed, bc there is some kind of ongoing database sync issue between the Y and the app. Once you tough out the booking experience, it’s fine, but I’d love to see the current developers make some improvements here.

The app upgrade in March 2024has failed miserably. The Triangle YMCA management and their contractor appear unresponsive and unable to fix after several weeks. In this era of software applications it is very surprising.

Haven’t been able to login to the app even after several reset attempts and I can login to the website. It’s been weeks without a fix, this is the worst app I’ve ever used.

The previous YMCA was amazing. I have no idea why an upgrade was needed. The user experience for the new app is awful. It is almost impossible to reserve courts using the new app. Please look at the user experience and correct asap!
