Update needed
Unfortunately it seems that the developers have forgotten about this app.
Outstanding
This app and the underlying tech realize the dream of analytics applied to conditioning and fitness. It is supported by an energetic user community in addition to the devs themselves. I tried several other bike trainer apps before discovering this. Deleted the others. Can you tell I love it?
Great Platform to Keep Training on Track
Can recommend this app. Keeps training on track. Many different workout / interval types not included in other platforms. At a minimum you will need power for doing interval sessions indoors. Works great with my Tacx Neo.
I love this app!
I’ve got Xert to power my indoor cycling setup. I’m loving it so far...4 weeks into it. Still have some features and parameters to learn about but it’s not that difficult to learn as you go. Tech support has been super responsive, even suggesting a Zoom call to speed up the setup explanation. As I said, 4 weeks of Xerting every morning and I’m still loving it.
Horrible business ethic
DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS NO NAME APP. I was improperly charged for annual membership. I needed to try program first so intended month to month but when charge went through it was for entire year. At first contacted xert to request refund. They never answered and still have my money. I shouldn’t have gone with this no name app. Avoid the scam.
not for sscx :-)
coming back from injury i’m riding a trainer on my sscx bike. the exported fit file has the ‘right’ data (afaict) but during the session, rpm >140rpm goes beserk (bouncing around 79 or 109 or something else). otoh i’m probably holding it wrong, train on the app and the site show different recommendations. i’m just randomly picking things by name as i scroll around.
Latest version drops ERG trainer control
When you pause the workout, I now lose ERG mode and have to disconnect and reconnect my trainer to continue the session properly. As long as you don’t have to pause and step away, it seems to work as it always had. Support has the ticket and are looking into it, but I’ve just been told this is expected behavior.
This latest version features a new session page with all the information about the session and a warmup button to allow you to warmup before the session starts.
