Time and Energy Well-Spent
August begins my third year using the facilities at Ballad Health’s Wellness Center. Three years ago, weighed 420 lbs and was recovering from Congestive Heart Failure. I could barely walk up a flight off stairs without losing my breath. Together with guidance from my cardiologist and the staff at the Wellness Center, I now weigh 349 lbs and have set a goal weight of 290 to be reached by August 2024. From taking nine medications I am down to just four and am working my way down to just one. The workouts are steady, productive and fun, something I never thought possible when I started in August 2020. Something else: with my diet’s changes, I can taste and enjoy what I’m eating once again. My thanks to Robin, Desiree, Amanda, both Emily’s, Sean, Logan, Meredith and of course Amy for all their patience and steady support for this old seventy-year-old. You see, God’s given me a second chance, and with the help of my friends at the Wellness Center, I am gonna make the most of it. Thanks again, folks. Ed Ostermeyer
My thoughts on the app.
I really like the App. It’s great for keeping up with classes offered. I would like to see when new classes are offered under Notices like for the beginners. That way a person knows everyone is a beginner in the class to reduce anxiety starting a new journey. It would be great to have later evening classes not everyone has a day shift job. But must of all the App. Needs to easily integrate with all fitness devices. And Sync so much faster that it does. It seems really slow. In my opinion. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars.
The app keeps getting better and better! This version includes enhanced features and bug fixes to ensure a smoother experience.
