So I love this group, when I’m not overwhelmed by the number of emails received each day. I flag some Mighty emails with links I should read, then a week goes by, I’ve not looked at any of them because every time I pic up my phone to read, I fall asleep. Then I’m overwhelmed and depressed and delete them all. The “We Laugh So We Don’t Cry” article is SO ME I couldn’t pass it up. THIS is how I deal and my daughter too. The “ 22 Memes That Might Make You Laugh If You Use Dark Humor to Cope With Mental Illness (The Mighty) could not be more SPOT ON! I should enter the app more but most days I just don’t have the energy to read and filter thru how my life relates to various articles or posts is just too much. However when I am here it is awesome. I’ve shared the app with my daughter and my Son’s PDN RN.

For those that don’t know, Palliative Care is one step below Hospice. I have had 29 operations with two more scheduled. Chronic pain is my life so I am always looking for information. I found “ The Mighty “ and am a newbie but from day one this app has been helpful in many ways. The biggest so far has been the ability to associate with and both help and get help with dealing with your issues at hand.

I don’t do social media. Then with some medical Dx I was encouraged to find a community and support. I found so much support and help with this app. I never feel alone now. And it not a social media like the others that have people just wanting attention crowding it up. And no shaming…. Nothing but help and support!

Won’t even open up on phone - or iPAD sometimes - have to go online Have spent long time creating post Stuck in post -when adding hashtags freezes no post button Still has old profile contacted to apple log in Often when logged out and have been doing steps to log back in from email sent and it loops sending me back to main group screen / never logging me it I'm a group leader and every few weeks it welcomes me as a new member DM gets disabled although in profiie it says enabled - or can't toggle enabled Trying to post on iPad it spins forever then finally stops without posting - then after recreating it on phone it did post - many other problems posting - sometimes doesn't post from either - tried NY eve post for days - a few hours over and over some days Then I tried to reply to another members post and it went to “create your profile” page (which already had my profile of course with correct info) didn’t post and went back to main page and I haddened copied my comment and lost that Often writing comment reply or DM doesn't go through and then lose what I've written - been writing everything in notes then cut and paste to be safe Replying to a post try to create a new paragraph sometimes sends it - all one long paragraph everytime- except of I cut and paste lines between paragraphs are there! I am taking a break from the Mighty partially due to time and energy wasted dealing with these and the frustration and stress it has caused me doing so Sad
