You should be rewarded for being healthy. It's good for you and good for the world. That's why Paceline incentivizes you to achieve 150 minutes of elevated heart rate activity each week with gift cards and discounts on the free app. The Paceline App can make you, keep you, and reward you for being active — no matter where or how you work out. Join the movement. Features: • Reward offers from premium wellness brands such as Daily Harvest, Hyperice, and Alala -Must have a wearable to use the app in its current form • Pairs with Apple Watch, Garmin, and Fitbit (more fitness trackers coming soon) • Weekly goals based on the American Heart Association's recommendation for 150+ minutes of exercise a week. • Your private health data stays private; we will NEVER sell your information to third parties. Paceline connects to the Health app via HealthKit to read activity and biometric data.
Used to be great
This app used to be great, used to get weekly rewards and gift cards. Then they switched and started offering even less gift cards. Now they switched to a points system and you need a crazy amount of points to get any sort of gift card and they are deleting points if you’ve had them for too long making it virtually impossible to be able to use the points to redeem a gift card. Been thinking about deleting the app since they are making it more and more difficult to use.
App no longer worth it
They slowly took away rewards and the app became pointless. It used to be a great app that would motivate you to exercise by offering gift cards, but they slowly made it harder to earn rewards, and then did away with gift cards altogether. Will be deleting after having for 3+ years.
Doesn’t have good rewards
This app used to have rewards you’d actually want, like money towards Target, Starbucks, and Amazon. Now the “rewards” are a small amount or a percentage off a purchase for brands you’ve never heard of. Deleted the app after using for 4 years.
No more gift cards
This seems like a waste of time. You did away with the gift cards which took months to obtain (this coming from someone who works out every day). Now I have to purchase things to use my rewards. No thank you!
Too many rules
The idea is nice but there are too many “rules. For example, only being able to achieve up to 50 minutes of exercise per day, even though many days I do more. In fact most weeks I’m hitting 200+ on my garmin over 4-5 days per week. This makes it hard to maintain a weekly streak of 150 minutes on the app. Then the prizes are pretty average in value - 35,000 points for like a $5 coupon or a 20% discount is just not incentivizing enough for me. The giveaways were a nice way to “waste” points but I never won, so… now I don’t even see those as an option since the update. On top of that pacepoints expire so it’s just very hard to reach a high number of points before they expire. I think I’ll be leaving the app as it doesn’t provide enough value and motivation for my already active lifestyle.
No gift card, no real reason to stay
I wanted to see how the new rewards worked, so I added flowers to my cart. Above that it has a checked box to use those points towards purchase, but it doesn’t show you what the discount is with points used? Am I doing something wrong?
Rewards
Unfortunately this app is no longer worth it as the rewards offered are terrible. There are many other apps with better rewards now.
