Excellent training plans for all types of races!
Age group athletes, this is the app you’ve been looking for! I’ve been using this app for a little over a year now and it has made such a difference in my performance. I’ve done 5 Olympic triathlons and since starting this app, not only has my speed and performance gone up with each race, but I’m not getting injured at all! It incorporates recovery weeks, strength, yoga, and even a little nutrition advice! The week of a race, you even get a race week prep audio seminar (~20 mins long) that gives you pro tips on how to maximize the training you’ve done while not doing anything to screw it up before the race haha. You can train for any triathlon distance, and run distance, or bike and swims. The free version is great, but I pay the $20/month in order to get customized zones and to be able to send the workouts to my garmin watch. LOVE this app!
Fantastic App!
I love how easy to use the app is. I do wish it had a couple of things, though: Can we PLEASE get dark mode support? The app is beautiful but it is BLINDING! Is there any way to shift the “focus” of a training block toward certain activities? Where I am, we get a lot of snow in the winter months and I don’t really have great access to an indoor track or treadmill. Doing intense runs outside at this time is dangerous both in terms of cars but also in terms of causing injuries. I’d love to be able to say, “hey, for this block, no anaerobic runs - let’s do more bike rides on Zwift and more swims in a pool.”

Great app
mottiv is a GREAT app for training! i used this to train for my first half and I am still using it for my marathon training. the interface is so user friendly and they make training and adjusting super easy. i also liked the variety of videos and helpful info. i totally reccomend!
Best Training App I’ve Used for Tri’s or Running!
I cannot say enough good things about my experience using this app. I started using it in the middle of training for a 10K race. I had been working off of a popular training plan from a very well known running coach but it was missing the mark on a few things. Immediately the 10K training plan on this app made a lot more sense and I started to see improvement! On race day I got a huge PR on a tough course! Since then I’ve used this app to help me train for multiple triathlons from local sprints to my first Ironman 70.3. Even though I have access to a training plan from a local triathlon club - I still prefer this app! It prepared me so well for each event! It is customizable as far as how many hours per week I have to train, when I want to do which sessions, it allows you to train for multiple events at once, and the race day strategies have been so so informative and helpful to me. I’ve been recommending this to all my training friends!
I WAS race ready
I began using MŌTTIV at the beginning of 2023 to train for the Chicago marathon. I love this app!! I really love the simplicity of it. I can move by training days around quickly. The daily training is easy to remember. I like the videos that come with the strength training. The MŌTTIV motto is “You Are Ready” and that’s exactly how I felt come race day. I set a PR in Chicago and felt great for the whole race. I strongly recommend MŌTTIV.

This app is when trust the process meets convenience. Need to do less, it is built in. Want to do more, it is built in. You can customize hours per week. Have multiple races to train for, it is built in. Need a community, it is built in. Great support as well, in articles and answering questions. I stumbled on the podcast first and decided to give the app a try. Really glad I did. There is a free version, but I pay to customize for different races. Nutrition for the work outs is included. Highly recommended!
