Get Set – Train Smarter is the result of a collaboration between the International Olympic Committee, the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center, and several Norwegian and international sports federations. The target group includes anyone involved in sports and physical activity, from young and adult athletes and their coaches to recreational exercisers and fitness enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Get Set – Train Smarter was created to help prevent sports injuries by providing the most effective and evidence-based workout routines for your needs. All exercises are presented through videos, supported by short descriptions of how to perform the exercise correctly. Exercises are presented with variations, often with a sport-specific twist, as well as 3 levels to make them more difficult and challenging as you progress. The Get Set exercises are designed to be carried out with a minimum of equipment, to make them safe and easy to implement wherever you are, indoor or outdoor. The exercise videos can also be downloaded to your device for offline viewing, allowing you to benefit from Get Set wherever you are. Under “Sport”, you will find a comprehensive selection of summer and winter sports, ensuring that your specific sport is covered. Each sport's exercise program is carefully tailored to its unique injury risk profile, offering specialized guidance for a wide array of activities. Additionally, there is an option to discover exercises targeting various body parts of your choice, tailored to prevent injuries to key areas such as the shoulder, back, groin, hamstring, knee, and ankle. Get Set is available on iOS in 11 languages (English, French, Spanish, Russian, German, Norwegian, Chinese, Korean, Finnish, Slovenian and Italian), and is accessible for free.
Looks promising keeps crashing
The app looks great and seems like a super tool. The problem is I couldn’t start a workout. It kept crashing whenever I tried to start a workout. I want to use this app, but if it won’t let me then I can’t.
No videos
I used this app for a few weeks and it was great. However the videos haven’t loaded properly for weeks now and the same problem is happening for others who are downloading the App.
What am I missing?
I downloaded the app. Looked great. Launched a few days later and now no exercises show? App is virtually empty? I tried deleting/reinstalling, still nothing?
Videos and images refuse to download
Love the exercises and the price. Videos and images no longer download for some reason.
Why are there people NOT using this app?
Seriously, great app, no privacy concerns, made in collaboration with actual experts, not charlatans. Exercises are evidence based, not following fads. Use this
Free, private, quality content
The exercises in this app are put together by Norway’s Olympic team. They’re awesome functional strength workouts. Download it if you’re like me and you enjoy your sport but don’t know where to start for training off the pitch. They also don’t collect ANY data. You don’t have any reason to delay downloading this app.
I GAINED WEIGHT FROM IT
I originally got this app to lose weight. After I downloaded, I gained 20 pounds in the next week Dont download it make you gain weight!!!!!??!(!:$
