I’m truly blown away by this latest update to this wonderful application. I didn’t even expect to get one, possibly ever. But, to see that I finally can choose any color and even on top of that, change the transparency, which is something I had always dreamed of for this program. Well, to say that I am extremely grateful and excited by this latest update is very much an understatement. To have so many colors now and the fact that you can create different shades of those colors by varying the transparency of your brush. That is just awesome. But even more amazing is that having the transparency/opacity slider/function now. Means that I can finally create shadow effects on my Mandala creations! Woohoo! That’s something that I have wanted since I first started using this rad application. I guess I could have emailed the developer with a feature request for this. But, often my emails to developers go unanswered unfortunately. Yet, just reading the review replies from him lets me see that he seems to be very responsive and supportive of his customers. Which rocks. Thank you. Plus, and I don’t know if this is a feature that only is available in the upgrade (which I made right away forever ago, it’s so worth it in my opinion.) But, also, in my opinion, you totally cannot undersell the fact and feature that we’ve had forever now - extremely high definition exports. All of my JPEGs that I export from Mandalas Drawing Studio, are awesomely - 5200x5200. That’s super high definition relatively speaking. And that means that you can rest easy knowing that if you use or display your Mandala creations anywhere. That they will not look shabby at all and you can zoom in a bunch without losing quality. Which, speaking of zooming in, in this app. This isn’t a complaint or knock against this program at all. But, if I could make a small feature request here in my review to the developer. It would be - would you please consider making it so that the Zoom In function in the app can go even farther in? Often times when working on a mandala I feel like I want to be able to add just the right detail to a piece or I have to keep undoing strokes with either painting tool constantly because I just cannot make a straight line or certain stroke to what I’m working on. And if I had the ability to zoom in, even just a bit more, I personally would believe that I could have even greater control when painting and adding details. This zooming request is just a small nitpick and other users may not have the same issues with that function. Yet, I still wanted to make this request and many thanks to the developer if you would please consider adjusting the Zoom In function in the app so that it could zoom in even farther and to more detail please. Thanks a bunch. Also, just a huge thanks for the recent update and all of the time, hard work and passion that you’ve no doubt put into this application since its inception and for the maintenance and feature upgrades. I’m thoroughly grateful for all of that hard work and support. Thanks, again, and God bless. You’ve created one amazing art application and I just love it and even more now with this recent update. One last minor thing. I saw your response to another reviewer about how to change the background color with the new user interface. If I had not read that reply from I believe I also would not have known how to change the background color now either. So, if you’ll also consider please perhaps adding the Background Color Changer and the Mandala rotation functions back to the main interface. Well, I would be grateful as well. I’m sure I can get used to how it is now, of course. But, if I’m honest it was a bit more convenient to have both of those options in that slider icon in the previous build of this application. Anyways, thanks once again for your continued support of this wonderful program and this most recent update. I’m so excited about it and cannot wait to try out the new features!

*update* I was frustrated because I like the old interface better, but I received a prompt response to my review with instructions on how to solve my problems with the new design. In my opinion, it’s not as intuitive as it used to be and I’d still like to be able to see the screen while choosing colors, but I will continue to use this app and relearn the new layout specifically because I received such courteous and helpful customer service. It’s not nearly as intuitive as it used to be, so the experience of this app is now sorely lacking. If something isn’t broken, don’t fix it. Granted I’m not using the premium but even if I were, this new update would be bad. An artist wants to be able to look at their work while they choose the next color. More colors are great, but I’m not a fan of the new pallette.

Today I logged on to contact you about having a broader color spectrum and BEHOLD!!! You read my mind. I use this app increasingly for a variety of reasons, typically when I get stressed. I was making simple ones for the kids to color, but now I can take it so much further. I don’t know how to use the vector file yet, but I’ll learn soon! My only suggestion is to put all the tools in the same corner. I use this with an adaptive screen and iPencil so going back and forth can slow me down. I LOVE it! I would make these to sell if I could!

I love this app, but it’s super frustrating how it sometimes loses all my work on a design and only saves the first part and not the completed one! I want to. Ty when that happens because I’m stoked on the final design and the I close and go back later to find it didn’t save the complete version 😭 please fix that big 🙏🏽
