Don’t get me wrong, the game is amazing…. But there is to many ads. I should not have to watch ads every 30 seconds. But again I love the game. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!

I discovered this app while I was going through chemotherapy in 2021. I didn’t feel well enough to sit at my desk and draw freehand mandalas, which I’ve done for decades; for my very neurodivergent brain, creating intricate patterns is a sort of calming meditation. This was the perfect solution as I could draw while resting against pillows. I’ve since created more than I can count and introduced many people to this awesome app. At some point, I began creating mandalas with more intention — using only the ‘crisp line’ in b&w — for eventual inclusion in a coloring book. That’s where I hit an unfortunate snag. While I love so much about this app in its relative simplicity, abundance of colors and brushes, layering ability, several types of symmetry and the ability to easily switch between them (complement vs rotate, etc) — it saves and exports in very low quality. I have to pull the file into Abode Illustrator and use image-trace. But the source files are so pixelated that the results are generally unsatisfactory, even after much frustrated tweaking. So, even though I have enough to fill several coloring books at this point, very few of them feel good enough to use. *sad face* I know this is designed to be a relaxing activity, without much consideration given to possible uses other than ‘look at this cool thing I made.’ It truly is amazing for that, and definitely worth the few dollars you’ll pay to unlock all features. Yet I think it could be significantly better simply by allowing for higher quality export. As it is now, they only look good in small, digital formats. I’d love a pro version with higher resolution in app, as well as the ability to adjust output size and quality — perhaps a ‘less-is-more’, stripped down version without all the extra features I never use. I’d happily pay a bit more for that.

I’m only putting this five stars so you can see this WAY too many ads, I mean heck, you can’t even draw in peace without an ad popping up two seconds after you just watched one. Also too many pop ups of the premium. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
