Discover a whole new world by navigating transport routes through land, water and air. May progress and prosperity find their way! Provide the world with the transport infrastructure it needs and make a fortune with custom-made transport services. Watch your trains run on rails, your buses and trucks thunder along roads, your ships power through the water, and your planes soar through the skies. Carry people on their way to work or play, and be the reason cities grow and thrive. Deliver raw materials and goods to drive the economy. Experience the greatest logistical challenges from 1850 to the present day, and build a transport empire unrivaled anywhere else on the globe! Free play offers a huge range of creative possibilities, while campaign mode re-writes transport history across three continents. Transport Fever 2 offers a choice of over 200 vehicles from Europe, America and Asia, modelled in extreme detail; and with the in-game map editor, you can re-create landscapes from three different climate zones. Finally, the realistic transport and economy simulator, along with comprehensive modding support, round off the gameplay experience.
Mar 9 2023 Update Crashes
It used to run with no problems, but now it constantly crashes with "An error has occurred". Thanks for the crappy update. Build 35214 Mac 64 Bit
Almost there
I love this game! It is gorgeous and immersive, and checks a lot of satisfying boxes for me. With a couple of frustrating exceptions that detract from the gameplay. First, zooming in and out always centers on the middle of the screen, regardless of where the mouse pointer is, making map navigation cumbersome and inefficient. Much more natural would be zooming in and out where the mouse pointer is. Second, the bridge- and tunnel-making feature looks simple to employ on paper, but is a nightmare in actual practice—if I can get it to work at all (there are no guarantees). Even when it does work, the results are often messy and unattractive. This comment specifically applies to situations in which bridges and tunnels are employed together, which I often want to do. Like to make a road dip beneath a railroad track or bridge above it, instead of simply crossing the tracks at the same elevation. Would love and appreciate if that was a simple command with a couple of clicks.
Needs better testing
This game is a case study in non-intuitive design. It's a good game that's hampered by poorly-thought-out design choices. Most of these poor choices you would have to play the game to understand—over ten hours of game time in, I'm still trying to figure out how to design train tracks so that multiple train lines can use the same tracks—but for an easy-to-explain example of their user-unfriendly thought processes, there is no global music control. If you don't like music with your games, you have to turn it off not only every single time you start the game, but every single time you reach a major checkpoint in a scenario. Gameplay, as I mentioned, has a large number of similar 'What were they thinking?' choices. However, the game itself is fairly nice. Once you eventually learn how it works.
Fantastic Game
I have spent untold hours addicted to this game. I can't get enough and I love the graphics and being able to ride in the vehicles. I am still waiting for the Spring Update to release here on the Mac Store. What is taking so long Apple? The update dropped back on May 10, 2022. Steam released the update the same day.
love it

refund please
Can i get a refund. Im having alot of problems on my ios. i tried playing for a while and had major lagging issuses. im sure the game is great but ill try it again on my M1 when support comes out for it. thanks
Great Game, Love this Sim!
This is a fantastic and frankly underrated game! The details are almost unreal. The models are really fine, the textures and rendering engine seem to work well with my iMac 2019, and the addition of Mods makes it even more interesting. I'm a city planner by education so I enjoy the game in sandbox mode where I plan towns and traffic systems for hours of entertainment.
