Would be great but…

For some reason the game doesn’t save right. It keeps reverting back to some version that it made up itself. You play for a half hour or so then save and then come back and it’s not there. The game reverts to some game with different characters all together and the one I’ve saved is totally gone doesn’t show up as a saved game to continue even though i made sure to save. Kind of pointless to even try to start over when you know it won’t save and pickup where you left it. Maybe someone else wants to waste a few hours on something that doesn’t work right.

Great, but a bit buggy

Been loving this game ever since I’ve picked it up! My only gripe is this occasional bug I encounter from time to time, where my achievements aren’t tracked correctly. For example, I can’t complete the quest for collecting all 10 Dragoon Medals because the game only counts one of them. I also believe I couldn’t get the “cook the same meal twice” achievement on the Chisholm Trail, though maybe that’s because the cook did it. Definitely a five of five if these are resolved!

Cool, but not very historic game

The Oregon Trail game is a very fun game and I like it a lot but there are a few tweaks that you might need to work out like on the California trail when you get to meet the Donner party beer is 1851 with the Donner party set out in 1846 and you wouldn’t even see them until February 1847 so that something that you might need to fix. And I would really like it if on the Oregon Trail when you get to Fort Hall, you could have the choice of going to Oregon or to California. like it usually would be another thing is why do you only get to see them camp at night campsite and I would love it if you could collect for wood for the campfire that night, and if we didn’t have wood or buffalo chips, then the party would go cold, and that would make it a little bit more that is challenging. Another thing is the quests, in the quest of the horse Creek treaty you made it happen in the wrong time because the treaty wasn’t signed in 1849 or 1850 it was signed in the early 60s or late 50s. Do you know about the epitaph that says our only child? Well that doesn’t really make any sense if there are no children in the party and that’s what I’ve been meaning to say that is, could you add children into the game? Also, the game could be more challenging if somebody could give birth to a baby. In the last thing is whenever you’re crossing a river sometimes you caulk it and floated across, but the oxen are still attached to it and realistically, they wouldn’t. They’d be swimming beside it with someone holding onto them, and I think you would be more realistic if one of the oxen would float away in the river, because sometimes that could happen, and for trading, who has over 500 pounds of crackers in the wagon, because usually people would not have that. Also I would really like it if you could add pets or horses on the trail because usually pioneer families had at least have one horse And dog and with the dog if you would pet it or feed it or not do anything to it I I bet it will follow you And when you ask it where it where it’s owner is, it doesn’t do anything and I think it’s just too sad to leave the dog there. In conclusion, I think there are a few things you might need to tweak out, but other than that it’s a really good game!
