Needs update to fix sound issues
This game is great, but it needs an update to allow the game audio and podcasts to play at the same time
Like the style, but crashes reliably.
Crashes to home screen on an iPad Mini 3 (iOS 12.4.9) Happens about every 2 areas, or major event transitions. Some of the cutscene text gets trunicated. Beyond that, I like the game or I wouldn’t have relaunched it and replayed through the crashes.
What a great little game!
First off, I love the art. And what really gives it punch is the diverse in-game cutscenes that use basic animations combined with excellent comedic timing and scripting to leverage it to full effect. This game has a pleasing loop, where the upgrades are meaningful, and it’s not at all grind-ey. The only part that feels like it goes on a little long is the desert, and that’s done for effect. You’re crossing a d***ned desert, after all. It’s short, but meaty. The writing is good. The secret finds are rewarding. The scaling is just right, which is surprising given that the difficulty doesn’t scale dynamically. A lot of love went into this game. Enjoy it!
Great game for crashing
I want to love this game - truly I do. The art style and breezy humor seem like they would make for a unique and fun rpg romp. But dear god the *crashing.* I cannot make my way past the first town because the game repeatedly crashes. I’ve never seen a more unstable offering on the App Store. I may wait to see if the developer can put this game in a more workable state but in the meantime... Buyer Beware.
Amazing
I was skeptical of this game at first but figured I’d give it a go. The art style is amazing and the humor is enjoyable. The turn based combat takes patience and you actually have to think about what to do. I definitely recommend this game to everyone.
Wow
This game is the balls
