SoulArk : Teleport

Could have been a cool game. Battles look ok and the art style is cool. Other than that just press teleport and auto attack, super boring after 2 days. No way to get any unit you like, so you are stuck with trash and constantly get beat by lower level broken invincible characters in pvp and pve. Why would devs do this? Ruin what could be a cool game by broken mechanics and horrible monetization. New broken hero drops. Makes herself and team invincible. $60 for 20 pulls, pity at 100 pulls. You need 3 copies to be viable. Do the math. Or buy her for $90 but she is still useless until 2 stars. $1 per pull on standard banner with no pity to mention. SSR drop rates are dismal at 0.11%. Yes you read that right. A tenth of a percent. Good luck getting anything you want. You can’t even buy anything that does anything for you. So dumb. No wonder no one has heard of this reboot. Great game ruined by devs again. Unless you are super bored wanting to waste a few hours just hard skip this trash heap. GG.

This is like a reboot. Except they streamlined the game and removed all the lore. What happened? I rather play Tetris!! The only thing you’re doing in this game is press teleport, auto attack press, teleport again press, auto attack, again, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, and that’s it!!! There seems to be pvp still but I got so frustrated that I uninstalled the game before I unlocked it.

I’m a fan of strategy/gacha games- especially ones with cool heroes to collect. In that front, I am very impressed with this game. I LOVE that it’s all female heroes, and they are all super hot/cute with interesting and diverse designs - total fan! I am also a fan of the teleport system, it takes out a lot of the complexity of a million little things to do in these types of games- and give you one place to make decisions and battle and I think it’s great- however I do think it could use some balancing. It’s takes forever for me to advance in the main adventure line cause I’m constantly in dimension strikes and other such side battles- which I’m not super sure what they’re good for yet. I’ve been playing for a few days and I think I’m starting to figure it out, but it could be more clear. One of my biggest complaints is the leveling system- you can’t transfer levels between heroes, and the reset cost is pretty expensive- which I think takes a lot of fun out of all these cool heroes we’ve been given, since I can’t really freely try them out. I think the game could benefit from some balancing such as places mentioned previously, and also maybe some clarity on the different ways to power up- is there a point to leveling up/ enhancing heroes that I won’t use? Is there any function really for purple heroes? Why have a bonus for using heroes all of one type when you would usually want to diversify (one tank one support etc) ? Overall though, I’m super impressed and happy that we’ve broken the mold a bit and excited for what is to come! Recommended- and will likely update rating in future if the game continues to make improvements.

Everything from the art to system design is quite fun and will only get better! The only thing I would suggest is balancing out the currency rewards. You need orange shards for upgrading heroes which comes plenty, but gold gets scarce fast. You need gold for upgrading, as well as equipment, which are both quite expensive and very difficult to farm, at least on my level. I wish there was an option to reset the levels of party members to invest in new ones so I don’t feel guilty upgrading a filler party member! I’d still recommend playing as it doesn’t require much of your time per day!

Great game. This game is f2p. However, the idle time needs to be extended to 24hrs. Some character’s who do status effects & etc need to be explained more. Like what exactly is insight?! Fix that .
