As a long time player the recent changes have hurt the game! Instead of fun it’s become more like a job to keep up!

Location issues rarely a factor before are now constant unless you have five bars and full 5g, even after rebooting iPhone and app repeatedly. (5+years reference) Super frustrating. Hope you fix soon.

It’s a sad state of affairs when you learn the Res team was helped with tools to track and detect players on the ENL team. What made it worse was that it was done so by Niantic staff who helped with the system that tracked players. Been years since I touched it as this new interface was horrible and built by someone who watched Tron Legacy a few too many times. But alas Niantic won in the end with all the games that benefitted from the portals that Ingress players put in on their own helping to make Pokémon Go so successful while Ingress players were ignored. Greed won here…

Something for everyone. Get outdoors, find landmarks, strategize if you like, build resonators/links/fields. Blow stuff up if you prefer. Costs nothing unless you decide to support Niantic. Enjoy!

Fun AR game. Go outside and find portals, capture them, and link them up. Can be time consuming, but very fun as a semi-casual game.

Can we get the pixelated control fields and blurry photos or portal keys fixed? They look terrible. Feature request: Add a unique notification ringtone or allow custom ringtone from device for Ingress alerts. Ingress is still using the original/standard iOS tri-tone ringtone that shipped with the first iPhone from 2007. I would like to be able to audibly differentiate Ingress alerts from other app notification alerts.
