Game not updated for modern smartphones
I just bought this game for the iPhone 14 in 2022 with the 6,1 inch display which is not huge to begin with and the game only occupies like 70% of the screen! It has big black bars on each side of the screen and the battery level and time at the top of the screen don't even go away. It's like playing a pirated version of a game on Android. I understand this in a game like Beneath a Steel Sky, but not in this more modern game. It was there that I realized it hadn't been updated since iOS 13. I really wanted to enjoy it but I guess if you dont have an iPad it's going to be a very lacking experience. I really wish they updated it but I highly doubt it.
Very fun game and worth the money
Love the graphics and story line. However, it could be a little less wordy. Otherwise, great fun and good puzzles
Excellent point and click
As the other two parts, this is a great game. Not to simple, not to hard. Overall well balanced with a fun story.
Restarted 5 times, missing piece in shredded letter
As stated I’ve restarted and there’s a piece of the letter missing. Had my partner mess with it too and nothing. Game deleted and reinstalled and still the same result. I’d like a refund.
Definitely worth it...
I wasn’t thrilled to find that after I had bought the broken sword bundle they had only given me half of #5, but after playing the half and it being so very good, I figured I’d dish out extra $ to buy the second half. So glad I did. This series has been fun, with great characters, storylines, but by far #5 has surpassed the others! My only complaint is trying to get objects to interact on such a tiny screen - I was nearly stuck on the part with the cable cars because I couldn’t get something in my inventory to reach an item lower on my screen! I managed to get it, but just barely! Anyway, very fun game. Hopefully there will be more!
