Ever played a shooter game and wanted more bombs to escape tight spots? Blast Rush gives you as many as you want... and more! The core of the enemy mothership is destroyed and reinforcements are approaching fast, but your guns are overheated and weak. You can't shoot your way out, but you can BLAST your way out! Feel empowered with unlimited screen-clearing explosives, then take on increasingly complex waves of enemy drones and RUSH to victory! • Fly through 40 intense levels or survive a randomized onslaught • Three distinct fighter ships and bomb types • One-thumb control keeps you blasting • Share your gameplay and scores • Screamin' 16-bit-style graphics and sound
Engaging gameplay and a good twist!
Fun to play and cute as a button!
Awesome game!
Really rocks. Super fun! Can’t put it down!
Fun Stuff!
Blast Rush is a fun take on the scrolling shooter genre, has excellent retro visuals and a killer soundtrack. Highly recommended!
Good controls, good mechanics, fun game.
Good, fun shmup. Mechanics are made to work with the controls here, which you don’t typically get with this sort of game on mobile. It’s challenging and makes you strategize how/when to blast. I play it on my breaks at work lately, every day.
Fun stuff!
What a joy! I never thought I’d get such a RUSH (get it) from bombin’ dumb-dumbs! Play this game!!
Blast Away!

Fun game - buy the in app purchase for even more fun
I learned about this game from the creator’s podcast No More Whoppers (which is worth a listen btw). Because it’s his first game I was expecting something amateurish and barely working, but by gum he really made something fun. The basic concept seems to be to avoid enemy ships until you can launch a special move that will wipe them out. If I had to compare the game mechanic to something it would be a little like the gym battles in Pokémon Go where you jab jab jab as your special meter fills up. It’s a good game for the commute - just start a game and rub your thumb all over the screen and see what happens. I recommend everyone get the IAP which unlocks a more powerful ship. It kind of feels like cheating to use the much more powerful weapon that I paid for. But at the same time it takes me back to my middle and high school days of pc gaming when I was so crappy at Doom I had to keep the cheat codes on at all times. Anyway this is great but I hope next time he’ll make a sick jrpg or point and click adventure game base on the NoMoWo expanded universe. Please make this happen!
