Addictive and Made With Love
I’ve only had the game for two days now and I’m not very good at it, but once I adjusted the button placement to fit where I naturally place my thumbs I can honestly say every bad move and jump has been caused entirely by my own overconfidence. I love how quickly you can jump right back in after dying, and the quick, retro beat of the music only encourages you more. God I love the music so much, if you normally play games without sound do yourself a favor and turn it on just to hear how amazing that beat is. I was so excited when I realized the ‘eyeball’ saws would lock onto you and follow your movements if you got too close- it’s little details like that which really show you how much thought was put into this game. I’m really happy this game came to Apple Arcade, it deserves a lot of love and attention and is definitely worth checking out.

This game is the living embodiment of easy to play hard to master. At face value, it’s simple and straight forward. There are really only two rules to this game: avoid the saw-blades, and collect the coins after you do. But, as you play a little longer you start to realize how diabolically challenging and rewarding this retro 2D game can be. Jumping over 1 saw-blade = 1 Coin/Point. Jumping over 2 saw-blades = 3 Coins/Points. This pattern continues if you can manage to jump over more saw-blades. The coins/points earned after each successful jump/land have to then be collected for it to count towards your score & add additional time to the clock. Throw in the added nuance of being able to double jump (1 from the ground / 1 in the air) and you begin to experiment with even crazier ways to jump over saw-blades to maximize your points earned. In addition to your double jump ability, the height of your first jump can be affected by how long you hold down the jump button initially. You can long press to give yourself a better chance of using your second mid-air jump to gather more points or avoid a close call with death when you’re backed into a dicey corner. As you learn the in’s and outs of maximizing your points and when not to jump depending on the angle and trajectory of new saw-blades coming down. You start to appreciate the many hidden nuances and underlying gameplay mechanics that make this game so rewarding to play. Absolutely love this game. Kudos to the developer. Keep up the fantastic work.

I really love this game. Even though it’s very difficult, I always keep coming back for more! The thing is, every time you buy a new custom for the game, the price increases to the point where it takes an eternity to be able to afford something new. Maybe make the prices cheaper or give more tickets each sawblade? My second and final suggestion: I know ya’ll are trying to go for retro style with the controls, but sometimes they can get annoying, still with the control settings. Maybe you could soon add a setting that can replace the l/r arrows with an analog joystick? Anyways, those are just some suggestions, but the game is great! =D

Overall this is a great game but it makes my character jump randomly when I’m not even pressing the button and when I I’m trying to move it does not let me so can you please fix this.

This game is amazing, I saw other comments and thought: wow. To the devs, thank you for putting the time into bringing the world joy.. That is, if that’s what you plan to do. I just hope soon I can make a game and (hopefully) add it to Apple Arcade. Like Sneaky Sasquatch or this game!

I mean it’s just jumping over saws with an annoyingly limited UI. I’ve played for like an hour and there doesn’t seem to be upgrades or anything. Like a flappy bird era game, empty and devoid of long term purpose. I get it’s an arcade app but it could definitely get more creative/try to do more. This game should be free in general.
